Adobe lightroom free presets

Adobe lightroom free presets
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is a workflow organizing software platform, where a digital photographer can manage the huge amount of digital images they usually make and do some quick post production work. The software allows the user to import image data RAW, convert it, or edit it in native format, non destructive. Then the user can pick and organize photos, put them in folders, mark and rename them, add copyright information and other metadata, do batch processing, simple edits, color correction, print, create slideshows, presentations, galleries, upload them to agencies and a lot of other stuff, right there from the one software. With a single click, the user can switch over to Photoshop, if available, and do edits on a pixel size level. Adobe did a great work in keeping the interface overviewable and simple. It could be expected that handling large amounts of data and images would clutter the desktop in no time, but this is not the case. Not only is everything stackable and organized, but it can be spread out over multiple monitors. There are many features and comprehensive help function can assist the user in finding the way around them. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is organized in modules. The main module is the Library, which loads when the application is started. There the images can be imported, reviewed and organized. The Organizer, which is a feature in Adobe’s Photoshop Elements software, comes to mind. The editing part is named Develop, it allows for completely non destructive file editing in RAW, JPEG and some other formats. Slideshow is the module where Adobe Photoshop Lightroom tools and export functions are hidden. The module named Print is for layout options, and all related preferences. Web module handles uploads, gallery creations and everything that connects the application with the internet. Within the Develop module, where all the editing takes place, there are several pre-defined presets for effects and color correction, white balance and stuff. The good trick is that all the settings and preferences can be saved, applied to many pictures at once and also loaded from disk; naturally, this lead to the creation of additional presets, which can be downloaded from the web. Already during the beta testing phase, users have provided Adobe with their favorite presets and preset requests, many more since then have been created and are available for download. These presets are available not only from Adobe and associated sites for free, but also on all pertinent and independent community forums and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom handling web sites, where users interact and share.

Inside wlan switch

Inside wlan switch
If you have a PSP, then you will have no doubt tried to make use of its connectivity through its detection of wireless network. Not only can the PSP be used over an ad-hoc connection to team up with other PSPs, but full access can be gained to network connections over different protocols. The PSP network options are fully configurable through software inside. A PSP WLAN switch will allow you to enable the WLAN capability at the flick of a thumb. This is something which can add to the gaming experience, by bringing the power of the internet to your portable gaming machine inside. This means that a user will have instant connectivity wherever there is a usable wireless network connection. You will be able to browse the internet just as if you were sitting in front of a personal computer, listen to streamed radio through the player, download, store and share movies and pictures over the network, and play games against other PSP owners. Portability literally is the name of the game with the PSP, as it can be used in internet cafs, coffee shops and anywhere else there is a public Wi-Fi hotspot to enjoy. However, on the inside, a PSP WLAN switch has been seen as a weak point of the design after numerous breakages. Sometimes the external switch will break away, especially when the console has been accidentally dropped, leaving only the part inside the PSP WLAN switch which is not easy to get too to fix. It is also possible to break on the inside the PSP WLAN switch. If you search around on the internet, there are recommended solutions to try and fix it yourself, but that should only be undertaken if the warranty has run out. Still, it could be possible to buy a replacement WLAN setup and do it yourself, if you really wanted to. Being such a small and compact device the built in component of the WLAN switch is a great thing in such a device. With it, it brings everything into one place, gaming, internet and somewhere to store a great deal of media files through memory cards. Looking on the inside, the PSP WLAN switch is the perfect embodiment of the technological advances made in the world of wireless local area networks. Just a flick of a switch can get you connected to the internet. All you should have to do is set up a connection profile for usage on a specific connection and from then on you can just connect immediately, just as you would on a home computer. Then you have access to a media player, a games console and internet browser all in one.

3g apps

3g apps
The iPhone 3g has a lot of great qualities to it, and among the many is the ability to use all kinds of applications on it. These applications come from a variety of sources whether it be Apple itself or homemade applications designed by other iPhone users looking to make something cool for other people to use. Most of them need to be bought through the Apple store but there are a good amount of free iPhone 3g apps available for download that are either fun or useful. Since money is tight these days for most people, especially with the amount of money just having an iPhone costs, I’ll just cover some of the free ones. The most common applications people use are ones that relate directly to websites. Google for the iPhone is one of the most used 3g apps out there, and luckily it doesn’t cost iPhone owners anything extra. Along those same lines there are also applications to keep an iPhone connected to a facebook account or even eBay. These are all actually fun and useful because it’s nice to have these websites readily available if an idea ever pops up while on the go. Myspace is also available as an iPhone application but I wouldn’t recommend it, especially for kids, due to the sites lack of security. There are other social applications that are great 3g apps. Twitter was designed for mobile devices so having it as an iPhone application just makes sense. Instant messaging programs such as AIM are also good choices because the iPhone makes it easy to send messages with its touch screen. There are even applications that can be used along with text messaging to make texts more personalized such as new smileys and other emote icons. Social applications are just the start of what apps a person can download for free. While I can’t get into all of them, there are a lot of random 3g apps that are really convenient. Weight Tracker is a good one for people trying to lose weight because people can monitor how many calories they are taking in while they are doing it instead of trying to remember at the end of the day. Another fun application is Remote, which lets people use their iPhone as a remote for their other Apple products. There are also various map applications that will work as a GPS and inform users of what stores are nearby. Many more free 3g apps exist for the iPhone, so no matter what a person wants to use their iPhone for they can find something that will serve that purpose.

Avr studio

Filed under: Tech and Media — admin @ 10:25 am

Avr studio
AVR Studio is an IDE (integrated development environment) that is used in the application of both writing for and the debugging of AVR applications. The software runs through numerous Windows environments and versions of the software will also come with an assembler to compile programs and a simulator to run them on. By simplifying all the tools that are needed for development, it allows developers to work at a high efficiency rate through a simple interface and with a microprocessor that is known for its speed, thanks to the development of its RISC heritage. RISC (reduced instruction set computer – pronounced ‘risk’) is the simplified language of instruction that the AVR microprocessor utilizes. The basis of thinking behind the development of RISC is that less is more. The cleaner and more stripped back the language, the higher the speed of access and executable times of programs. Speed and efficiency are two main components of modern industry and with the development of the AVR from its humble beginnings as a Norwegian student project; it has grown in popularity with developers all across the world. This allows a rapid connection to the AVR microprocessor from your PC, without the necessity of having to pull apart your project. An AVR microprocessor is accessible through an In-Circuit System Programming interface, which allows the developer to connect directly to the chip without having to remove it away from any circuits that it may be attached to. This allows for efficient upgrades and reprogramming. With AVR Studio, you are able to manage your project effectively and can also hook up to other development kits and boards which may be in use with the AVR microprocessors, such as the AVR Butterfly, which is an evaluation module for the microprocessors. The popularity of the AVR comes with its configurability by both developers and home users. AVR Studio provides all of the tools that are needed to configure the AVR microprocessor to your own needs. An excellent I/O views gives full access to the core of the AVR, as well as being able to see and configure the onboard memory including SRAM, EEPROM and flash storage itself. With its drag and drop functions, AVR Studio is user friendly and easy to work with, and there is support for C, BASIC and Pascal assembly languages, so whatever you program in, you should readily be catered for. The AVR comes preloaded with numerous firmware options and functions, which will help you compile and use your own code to integrate with the power that it already possess onboard.
